ABOUT THE MICHIGAN AVENGERZ: The Michigan AvengerZ is a dynamic, locally owned, successful indoor football franchise that is based in Detroit, Michigan. The team has established a strong, loyal fan base and is looking for energetic, professional, and self-motivated interns to assist with the 2025 season.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the guidance of AvengerZ management, the Game Day Crew Interns will be responsible for assisting with all game day operations from set up to tear down during the Michigan AvengerZ 2025 season and will be required to attend all 2025 home games (regular season and post season) at Detroit Fieldhouse Arena.

The Game Day Crew Interns will:

Assist with all set up responsibilities in the arena (field-level, backstage, and concourse levels) before every home game. This includes required office hours.
Assist with on-field promotions during every home game including, but not limited to, contests, half-time entertainment, and special guests.
Be knowledgeable about all theme nights and in-game promotions
Assist with all concourse level activity during every home game including, but not limited to, customer service, promotional giveaways, managing and overseeing concourse activities
Be responsible for tear-down and clean up of field-level, backstage, and concourse-levels following every home game
Be responsible for setting up and cleaning up food and beverage in the locker rooms at every home game
Be responsible for organizing, keeping track of, and returning all game day props and materials to the correct locations at every home game
Assist with other operations related tasks as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Punctuality is required
Be able to attend all AvengerZ home games at Detroit Fieldhouse Arena (April-July)
Earning college degree in sport management, event management, or another related field.

GAME PRODUCTION INTERN

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the guidance of AvengerZ management, the Game Production Interns will be responsible for assisting with all in-game production during the Michigan AvengerZ 2025 season and will be required to attend all 2025 home games (regular season and post season) at Detroit Fieldhouse Arena.

The Game Production Interns will:

Assist with set up responsibilities in the arena specific to in-game promotions before every home game. This includes required office hours.
Be lead on Head Set to communicate with Game Production Manager about all floor activities from doors open until the end of the game
Assist all in-game hosts throughout the game
Assist with on-field promotions during every home game including, but not limited to, contests, half-time entertainment, and special guests.
Be knowledgeable about all theme nights and in-game promotions
Attend pre-game meetings prior to every home game date
Be responsible for organizing, keeping track of, and returning all game day props, prizes, and equipment to the correct locations at every home game
Assist with other operations related tasks as assigned

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Punctuality is required
Be able to attend all AvengerZ home games at Detroit fieldhouse Arena (April-July)
Earning college degree in sport management, event management, or another related field.

ABOUT THE MICHIGAN AVENGERZ: The Michigan AvengerZ is a dynamic, locally owned, highly successful indoor football franchise that is based in Detroit, Michigan. The team has established a strong, loyal fan base and is looking for energetic, professional, and self-motivated interns to assist with the 2025 season.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the guidance of the Michigan AvengerZ marketing team, the Social Media Intern will assist with developing content, contributing ideas, and executing the strategic vision for all Michigan AvengerZ social media channels by engaging with fans, implementing trends, and attending team and community events to create content. As a member of the Social Media Team, you will:

Attend weekly meetings with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas and discuss trends
Create and manage content including live game updates, managing a social series, and staying on top of social trends
Be responsible for a minimum of two (2) social series featured on the AvengerZ social media sites, including curating ideas and creating the content
Attend all Michigan AvengerZ home games at Detroit Fieldhouse Arena (regular and post-season)
Accompany AvengerZ mascot, dancers, cheerleaders, and players to events to create content and highlight moments
Be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok
Proficient in video editing for each social platform listed above
Punctuality is required
Be able to attend all AvengerZ home games at Detroit Fieldhouse Arena (April-July)
Earning college degree in sport management, sports marketing, public relations, media relations or another related field.
